Undergraduate Research

Courses

The AU-CVM offers three, graded, variable credit courses through which undergraduate students who have attained junior or senior status and are in good academic standing may conduct mentored research in the veterinary biomedical sciences. Included are:

1. VBMS 4980 - Undergraduate Research

2. VBMS 4987 - Honors Research

3. VBMS 4997 - Honors Thesis

BraTs Mission

To provide a mechanism through which highly motivated undergraduate students with interests in veterinary or biomedical science research can be introduced to and become actively engaged in supervised research activities involving animals and related model systems at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and allied laboratories on campus.
