Companion Animal Services

The Auburn University Veterinary Clinic

The everyday care of your pet through all life-stages, including wellness exams, vaccinations, parasites, elder care, nutrition, and the detection and treatment of your pet's health concerns are conducted through our community practice, The Auburn University Veterinary Clinic. The clinic is led by Dr. Sara-Louise Newcomer and Dr. Robert Lofton. When necessary, Drs. Lofton or Newcomer will refer your pet from our clinic to our referral hospital for more advanced treatment or diagnostics.

The Auburn University Small Animal Teaching Hospital

The Small Animal Teaching Hospital is a full-service, state-of-the-art veterinary care facility that operates as a referral hospital, just as you may be familiar with in human medicine. Comprehensive diagnostics, cutting-edge facilities, board-certified clinicians, experienced veterinary care teams, and a strong commitment to excellence, make up the veterinary care experience at Auburn.

Hours of Operation

  • Regular office hours are from 7:45 until 4:45 pm (central time) Monday through Friday.
