Outpatient Shelter Veterinarian

Job Description

Are you ready to make a real difference? Do you enjoy a team environment with like-minded colleagues, a fast pace, and a lot of variety? Do you want to get back to the reason you went to vet school in the first place?  Come and explore what we have to offer!  The Humane Society of Huron Valley is looking for an energetic Michigan-licensed veterinarian to join our team. The job entails mainly outpatient services, care of shelter animals, and education of staff and clients.

Founded in 1896, the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) is the only animal shelter in Washtenaw County that takes in all types of unwanted, injured, lost, stray, abandoned, and abused animals. Each year we help over 10,000 dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals…and the Humane Society of Huron Valley has the highest "save rate" among all similar animal shelters in Michigan!

Position includes competitive salary and generous benefits—vacation, holidays, sick pay, 401(k), medical, vision, dental, employee discounts and more.
