Postdoctoral Fellow in Biomedical Science (recurring position)

Job Description

Postdoctoral positions become available periodically under a variety of research grants and projects in the College. We are seeking applications from individuals with either: (1) a PhD in any area of the biomedical sciences or (2) a DVM or its equivalent.  Interests in biomedical research at Auburn target a fundamental niche in animal and human health, the life sciences, and production agriculture.  

A host of opportunities are envisioned during the upcoming year, taking advantage of unique Auburn resources provided by the CVM Teaching Hospital, Scott-Ritchey Research Center, Southeastern Raptor Center and Clinical Pharmacology Reference Laboratory. 


The successful candidate for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment; excellent communication skills required.  Positions are available for a minimum of one year as full time 12 month appointments with renewal possible.  Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.  Review of applications continues throughout the year as positions become available.  Please send your curriculum vitae, transcripts, statement of research interests and three letters of reference to:
